The Register
A checkbook register that still works like a checkbook register.
About
Swift · SwiftUI · Kotlin · Jetpack ComposeExpense IQ was the app I used to run my money for years. Then it was abandoned, and a decade of history was sitting in a database nobody was going to open again. The Register started as a way to get that data back out, and turned into the app I wished had replaced it.
It is a register first. Accounts, transactions, categories, transfers, splits — the things a checkbook does, done properly. Recurring bills, budgets, receipt photos, CSV and QIF import and export, and twelve reports on top of that.
There is no Pariahware server and no account to create. If you want your data on more than one device, it syncs through your own Dropbox, and on the Mac through iCloud Drive. I never see it.
